faded to black and white

ones and zeroes
protons and electrons
something and nothing
murderers and victims
allowed to play out
their dramas over and over
again in peace
in what cannot be called
heaven or hell
It is only what happened
as the record plainly shows
The sponsors our host takes
such delight in deriding
are also defunct
but business thrives
death still pays the bills
